Our Thermal Water

Thermal water only is used in the Thermal SPA Hotel Roman Bath: as drinking water, as tap running water, as pool water and, of course, for treatments in our SPA-complex.

We get our hot water from the thermal spring and our cold water is the pure glacier water from the Pirin Mountains.

The expert balneological assessment proofs that the water from our spring (+58 °C) helps as a prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, diseases of the liver, gall bladder and kidney, problems with bones and joints (chronic and inflammatory diseases, after-effects of dislocations, fractures, and rheumatism), nerve endings inflammation, bronchitis, asthma, rhinitis, skin diseases and other ailments. It helps to recover from injuries and prevents formation of stones in internal organs.

Our thermal water reduces inflammation, removes toxins and heavy metals from a human body, makes skin soft and healthy, and makes hair thick and silky.
The salts contained in our mineral water provide many benefits for health.

Hydrocarbonates maintain acid-alkaline balance in a body, and hydrocarbonate and sodium ions help to normalize the gastric secretion. Chlorides enhance gastric juice secretion and increase its acidity.
Sulfate and magnesium ions work as a light irritant for the stomach lining and cause a mild laxative effect. They are also useful for the cardiovascular system functions normalization. Calcium ions and fluorine are particularly important for the bones and teeth strength. Metasilicic acid has beneficial effect for the digestive system and removes toxins.

Our hot thermal water has a mild laxative effect. So it would be better to drink it to clean your body during your first day in the Thermal SPA Hotel Roman Bath.
It is recommended to drink our cold water or half-mix of our hot and cold water in everyday life.
Every person should drink 2-2.5 liters of water per day. If you have not adhered to this rule, it’s time to start now.
Drink more during exercising and after bath treatments
If you want to lose weight, drink two glasses of water before every meal.
If you drink a glass of warm water on an empty stomach in the morning, it will help your stomach to wake up.
